CREATING TWO PARTS FROM A SINGLE STAFF WIT TWO VOICES
I have a single line, with two voices (Flute 1. 2.) - I want to create two parts
(Flute 1 and Flute 2.) I have looked up the "Learn" video and they seem to have
an Instrument panel which is "black in colour" and has several function that my
Instrument panel does not have. My instrument panel is "white" and basically
a list of instruments which are in the score - but no "Open/Closed eye" symbol.
I have the latest MuseScore 4 and I wonder if the learn video is using an
earlier version? Any thoughts on how I can produce two separate parts?

at 4.56 Parts. What is shown on the screen is nothing like
what is shown on my screen. I stll don't know how to create
two seperate parts from a single line with 2 voices. Thanks!

First you have to add the same instrument with "I" directly under the existing staff with two voices. Then select the measures and apply "Tools -> Explode".
