MS Studio 4 opening with a blank screen
So I already updated MS4 to the most recent update on Tuesday. For whatever reason when I open it, it literally comes with a blank screen, no recent scores, no nothing. I've already tried about everything I could. Anything from restarting my PC, uninstalling and reinstalling MS4 & 3, and even downloading a nightly. All of which did not help at all. Please let me know if there's any other option to resolve this issue. Thanks!

Have you tried revert to factory settings using the command line option?

I've tried that a couple minutes ago, and this was the result. No different than before.
Try the following:
1. WIN + R and type cmd, then press ENTER
2. copy/paste:
set QT_QUICK_BACKEND=software
then press ENTER
3. copy/paste: "C:\Program Files\MuseScore 4\bin\MuseScore4.exe"
then press ENTER.
Please let us know if you see any difference.

I'm very happy to say that it finally works now. Thanks!

This is a very temporary solution. I hope the developers will figure out how to fix it without this workaround.

Yeah, hopefully.

I'm having the same issue. Although I'm new to Musescore, no previous versions, still unable to download properly. I just tried the workaround and still just get a blank screen.

That's weird, because it opened when I did the workaround thing. I just wish there was a way for it to just open up without having to do any of that.

This issue has now been resolved (since 4.4.1)
Update to 4.4.3 here: https://musescore.org/en/download
You shouldn't need it, but possibly, at a second stage, revert to factory settings from the command line, see: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/revert-factory-settings#Reverting_t…
See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/24269
UPDATE AS OF NOW: I updated MS4 to 4.4.1, and everything finally works now.
