Remove Leading Hyphen from Next Line

How can one remove the leading hyphen that appears on the next line? You will note in the two attachments that Musescore places a leading hyphen, which I do not want. The other attachment from a hymn book shows they do not employ leading hyphens in the manner Musescore does.
