Creating dotted vertical lines midway through a bar

Hi. I don't know if this has been covered previously.

I am using Musescore 2.0 and I am copying some recorder music. Parts of the music have vertical dotted lines midway (half-way in fact) through some of the bars.

How can I add a vertical dotted line in the middle of a bar?

You can drag a dotted barline from the palette onto a notehead (rather than into the measure), results in that barline to appread before that note.
