Double bass 16th note drum notation
Hi,
I am just getting to grips with Musescore and want to create some drum notation.
I have added some 8th note hi-hats in and can also put some 8th note bass drum notes in, but I want to include some 16th note bass drum notes in to create a double bass sound, or even a bass triplet.
I have tried choosing the 16th note input, but it wont let me put the note inbetween the 8th notes.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!

You want to replace the 8th notes by 16th right ?
Press N, select 16th, select bass drum from the drums palette and click on the first 8th note, it will change in a 16th note and a 16th rest, click on the rest to make it a note etc...

Still no luck!
I choose the 16th note, and it just wont let me click on the 16th note spaces.
I have attached an example. If possible, please can you show how i can put a 16th note bass drum before the last 8th note bass drum in the first bar!
Thanks!
Joe

First you need to understand voices .
It looks like you are using voice 1 for the bass drum instead of voice 2 (bass drum is setup to be voice 2 by default). If that is the way you intend then you need to change the last eighth note of the bar to a sixteenth so that you have room for another sixteenth.
