Lyrics for rests
Hi everybody,
I'm playing in a hobby band, mainly doing instrumental accompaniment. So I often have a rest in my notation, when the song is sung. Therefore I would like to attach song lyrics to rests in my notation, which - as far as I could find out - is'nt possible yet. Is it a matter of principle that it doesn't work ? Does anybody else need this feature?

you could consider to add fake notes (in a seconc voice), with lyrics, and to make the notes invisible, could'nt you?

but the problem with fake note is, that I either need an additional staff, which decreases the available space on a sheet, or the rest is actually replaced by the fake notes

You can have lyrics at rests:
first enter notes, then add the lyrics, then replace the notes with a rests (select note, then press "0").
This is probably a bug though and might get fixed in later versions...

It also gets "fixed" if you save and reload the score...

oops, never noticed that, instead deleted them manually.
