System Distance 1.0, Windows
The sustem distance is set at 7.0 (too much). When is change it to 6.9, the systems collapse and overlap. What do I do?

It depends what you want to do. Here is a proposition.

Mr. Iasconic,
Yah! That looks pretty good, but how did you do it?

PS Sorry about the bad spelling. I was in a hurry.

I added page and system breaks to freeze this and I added a vertical frame at the top on the second page and one at the bottom. See Display -> Show frames
I think what is happening is that with the spacing set to 7.0, the total size of the systems on the page exceeds the page fill threshold, so the systems are being spread out to fill the page. Taking the spacing down to 6.9 is just enough to make it not exceed the threshold, so it's no longer spreading out. What you really need to do is just increase the threshold (try 100%) so you are seeing the *actual* spacing you've set. I think you'll find that even 7.0 is actually not enough here; you really need to *increase* the spacing. That fact is just being hidden from you right now by the "page fill".

I thought "system distance" was behaving strangely until I set the threshold to 100%. So thank you, Marc, what a relief I looked in the forum before filing a bug ;-)
