Create child pages from sections of "Layout and formatting"
This page of the Handbook should be broken up into smaller pages, because it's getting seriously out of hand: https://musescore.org/en/node/35896

That's why it does have an index at the top.
And the index just goes to show how huge the page is getting. I don't think there are any other pages in the Handbook quite that big. Mostly, it would be a case of each section getting its own page, with the main page (the "parent") basically having just the index—which in this case would still be plenty of content. ;-)

But most of the section in "object" part have only a screenshot with (or without) some explanation in one or two phrases...........

the explanations may indeed need to get some extension.
I'd rather keep all the Style/General together and in order.
In fact, a number of sections are too simplistic and should be expanded further. This would make the page even longer.
Examples are:
//musescore.org/en/node/35896#style-edit-general-style-beam
//musescore.org/en/node/35896#style-edit-general-style-slurs-and-ties
//musescore.org/en/node/35896#style-edit-general-style-haipins-volta-octava
//musescore.org/en/node/35896#style-edit-general-style-pedal-trill
//musescore.org/en/node/35896#style-edit-general-style-articulations
//musescore.org/en/node/35896#style-edit-general-style-accidentals
//musescore.org/en/node/35896#style-edit-general-style-tuplets
The following also would gain from a little more of verbosity:
//musescore.org/en/node/35896#style-edit-general-style-measure
//musescore.org/en/node/35896#style-edit-general-style-notes
Splitting the page into several child page would also take care of the questionable order of the sections, as instructions about specific editing operations are 'embedded' in the explanation of the "Style" dialogue box, for instance //musescore.org/en/node/35896#edit-spacing-between-individual-notes
Can I make a start on this, just by making a "Page settings" child page?
In reply to Can I make a start on this, by Isaac Weiss
sure

Should I make it a language-neutral page (requiring work on translators' parts), or only for English?
In reply to Should I make it a by Isaac Weiss
other was roung, english would requite translatation, language neutral would not.
Anyway, it should get translated, eventually
