I need help with the symbols
When I upload or print a score the quarter note symbol symbol doesn’t show
next to the tempo. Example: =144
I can't figure out how to fix this and I could really use some help.

Does the quarter note display in the Tempo palette?
If so, follow directions here:
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/tempo#tempo-marking
The Tempo palette shows quarter note = 80; enter it into your score, then double click it and edit to 62.

tempo doesn't appear in my palettes, how would you add it? P.S. I am using the musecore for ubuntu.

Have you selected the Advanced workspace?

Alt+T should add a tempo text too.
