Crashing on Startup
I'm using version 2.0.3 on Windows XP SP3.
When I open MuseScore, it will start the loading screen, and then immediately crash. It gives me an error message that says :MuseScore.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.'
Does anyone know why this is happening, and how to fix it?

Yes, it used to run, but now it does not.

Is it possible yuour hardware is as old as your OS? MuseScore requires SSE2 hardware, which most modern computers have, but your might not. Try the non-SSE2 version from the Downloads page.

Did you install any new software or hardware since last time Musescore worked? See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/known-incompatibilities
