Splitting beam of 8th notes
i have a measure which includes only 8th notes and i want to connect every 2 of them but musescore automatically connects 6 and 4 notes (it's a 5/4 measure) and when i disconnect and try to connect them separately it still connects them all together

If you wish to use that style of beaming consistently throughout this entire score, see the Handbook section on time signatures to learn how to set the defaults. If you just want to override the defaults for a specific beam, see the Handbook section on beams.

i have but i can't change them, i have tried
