Edit a Pallette
I play Handbells for my church Choir and I found musescore and and been messing with it for a few days now and was wondering. I look though all the pallettes and there is now handbell markings for it, and I was wonderinf how i can make a palette that has bell music markings on it to add to music in musescore.

I'm not aware of any way to add your own symbol in palette.
There is a lot of symbols in the Symbol palette. Type Z to access it.
Could you give examples of Handbells notation?
Maybe http://www.handbell.co.uk/notation.html ?
You can also drag and drop an image directly from your explorer/finder to your score.

Currently I see two solutions.

Lasconic,
I agree that the missing Handbell symbology as well as with playback is very limiting for handbell composers/arrangers. Like you, I have resorted to creating a collection of .jpg's (images) of the various markings) however, these do not stay anchored well when the global page settings are modified.
In the meantime, I have resorted to the "Create-->Text-->Chrd Name" to enter the plain-text equalavent of the specific marking (e.g. "Gyro", "SK", etc.) along with an "*" to reference a footnote on the bottom of the page.
1 - It would be immensly useful to either have the ability to add to the palette for "Articulations and Ornaments" or for MuseScore to incorporate the common Handbell Notation Symbols used in: http://www.handbellworld.com/music/HandbellNotation.cfm.
2 - I would like to see playback support for handbell-specific techniques such as Shake (SK) Brush Damp (BD) and mallet (although these may require SoundFont support (?).
3 - There is currently no mechanism to include both Handbells and Handchimes on the same staff (as is common is bell choir arrangements).

In discussions with Thomas Bonta and Werner Schweer, I have created Handbell-specific symbols for testing. I have created a discussion on: http://musescore.org/en/node/14974#comment-51995.
Attached are some .JPG Handbell Markings that can be used in an English Handbell score (Other symbols are accomplished using existing articulations & Ornaments, lines or chord/staff text).

No, you download the files to your computer. Most browsers have some sort of option - like right clicking the link - to allow you download the file to your computer. Every system is different; you'll have to consult the documentation for your browser to figure out how to download files if you don't already know how.
