Xkey - usb midi input keyboard
Hello I've been using my Xkey keyboard for input of notes. Worked fine until I updated musescore (currently using version 2.0.3.1 Revision 6347ed6) and Xkey now works sporadically and unreliably and if it does work to input a note the cursor doesn't advance to the next rest. I don't think the Xkey itself is at fault and I've tried plugging / unplugging etc.
Any words of wisdom?

Thanks Shoichi - your suggestion prompted me to do a variation on reset - something as simple as closing the musescore down and re-opening. That did the trick and all is well again. It's surprising when the simple answers are the best ones.

Apparently you turned on the midi after starting MuseScore. MS doesn't let you do that.
