Beaming Notes
Hi. I need to write out 1 quaver and 2 semi-quavers beamed, then immediately 2 semi-quavers and a quaver also beamed, but I don't want all 6 notes joined, I need a break after the first 2 semi-quavers.
Can't for the life of me see how it's done. I've been to the beam section but it won't let me do it.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I've been into that section, but it won't give me what I'm looking for.

Then share the score your having problems with and describe exactly how you want it to look.

Here's the music. I've been transposing it from bass clef to treble for a trombone who has difficulty with bass clef.
It's bar 10 the 6/4 bar. The first three notes are correct, it's notes 4, 5 & 6 that I want to look like the first three but in reverse.

Apply a middle beam to that note and it will attach to the others.
And how do you do that?
Thanks for your help.

Select the note and double click the note on the beam palette that has a 16th note beam on both sides. If you hover over it, it will say Middle Beam.
