How to change the songtext font for all te words at once?
Yes I know how to change textfont I will use, but when I change it
the words stay in the old font.
I can change it word by word via using the right mousebutton and choose (dutch version: tekst eigenschappen - Herstel naar waarde van de schijf)
I need and want a quicker way to change

In English use the menu Style->Text select Lyrics odd lines or Lyrics even lines and change the font and press OK.

Does this work for other people? It didn't for me. I see the note distances change as if it is aligning with the new font but the font itself doesn't change no matter what I do.

Works fine for me (2.03 AppImage on xubuntu). What version MS, what OS etc. are you using and see if someone with the same setu phas the problem.?

It won't work if you have or some very old version of MuseScore (from before text styles existed) has manually applied custom formatting to the text. In that case, you'd need to remove the custom formatting by selecting all lyrics (right click one, Select / All Similar Elements) then hit the "Reset Text to Style" button in the Inspector.
If that doesn't help, please attach the score you are having trouble with so we can see what is going on and advise better.
