MuseScore malfunction
I have a problem.
I downloaded version 2.03 and installed.
The program will not work at all.
The active score continually scrolls to the left.
When the mouse is over the page view window it changes to continuos view automatically and then scrolls to the left.
In preferences the programe just quickly scrolls through the tabs until it reaches tab 6 check for update.
It seems the whole program is botched and unusable.
Can you advise what to do, as I am in the middle of a project which needs completion.

It sounds like your keyboard malfunctioned. Does this happen in any other programs? If not, then try using a command line revert to factory settings. https://musescore.org/en/handbook/revert-factory-settings

Thanks Mike, yes it is happening in notepad as well I have just discovered, does this mean a new keyboard will solve the problem.

I suspect you have a key stuck. It's probably an arrow key, so you might be able to remove the key from the keyboard and either repair it (I've never tried it before) or keep the key off and work around it until a permanent fix can be made. The key would be the one that make the screen scroll in that direction.

Thanks for help Mike. I removed the usb connection and reconnected it and it solved the problem. There must have been a glitch somewhere, but all good now, thanks again. Brendan

In my case I use 2.0.3 AppImage because there was a problem with 2.1 NumPad keys not working in the linux version.
