Can you explain more about what you mean? If you mean the "Ambitus" symbol that you can add from the Lines palette, it is automatically calculated based on the actual content of the staff, but you can override this using the Inspector.

Perhaps this means the amateur and professional instrument pitch ranges? Tessitura would roughly be amateur range, perhaps?

Thanks for your response mark, so ... the Ambitus is calculated by Musescore?, didn't know that!, and I already followed your expert advice, used the Inspector and Voila! I can change the Range of the Tesitura!.
Again thank you so much Mark, God Bless.

To be clear: MuseScore calculates the value for the ambitus at the time you add it. So if your lowest note is middle C and the highest is the F on the top line, and then you add an ambitus, it starts off correct. But if you later make changes to your score resulting in that range changing - say, maybe you add a lower A, or remove the high F leaving an E as the highest note - the range doesn't update automatically. But you can press the "Update Range" button in the Inspector and it will calculate the range again for you. It's almost always better to do this than to rely on your own memory / eyesight to determine the range.

Thank you very much for your explanations.
The Ambitus, usually indicates the note range (or vocal range) used in that section.
"Tessitura" (texture) means: the Best sounding range for an instrument or vocal (for example: tenor) or just a specific vocalist. But sometimes it can only be used to specify the "Usable/Playable pitch range".
If you mean it, then:
Right click on a staff, select "Staff properties".
You will see "Usable pitch range" at the bottom of the newly opened window.
You can change it here. (for the selected instrument in that staff)

Thanks for your response Ziya, yes Tesitura is exactly what you mean, and awesome Musescore tip! it's a bit more specific than Mark's tip, (which is an excellent tip), didn't know Musescore had an Amateur and Professional Tesitura Range, what a Music Notation Program, absolutely awesome.
Again thanks so much for your answer, God Bless.
