Dry sound in uploaded version

When I upload a score, it undoes the echo effects I amplified on the actual editor, how do I add these back in?

Upgrade here

The check for updates has not been activated. A little more than a week ago 2.2 was release, a couple of days ago 2.2.1 was an emergency release to fix problems found with 2.2. The Check for updates menu option will work once a version is deemed acceptable for about a week. MuseScore does not want you upgrading to a lemon.

You should be on 2.2.1. You only see that Upload score audio check box when not using the default soundfont, here Musescore_General.sf3 and when being able to export Mp3, which the 2.2 versions for Windows have built in.

If you have no sound, check thr Fluid tab in Synthesizer, if need be add the above mentioned soundfont.

It'd help helping you if you'd mention which score you are having difficulty with, the most recent in your musescore.com account is 5 months old, so I guess it isn't that, or is it?

It's a private one, I update it every time I make changes so I can hear what it sounds like on the website (was gonna make public when it's done). I already got the sound to work by using the default soundfont, the one you mentioned. The thing that confuses me is that the upload audio already worked today, but then I copy and pasted something in the music from the version I was using in 2.1 and the option literally disappeared in every score.

As mentioned, the option is only there is MuseScore has reason to believe the audio would be different - mostly, if you have changed from the default soundfont. It seems that merely tweaking effects settings won't trigger MuseScore into realizing your audio will be different from the default. Seems this has been reported before? Not sure if there is an official plan about this.
