MuseScore Songbook for Android problem

• Jun 10, 2018 - 17:43

I've just updated MuseScore Songbook to the latest version on my Android tablet and all my music has disappeared! Moreover any .mscz file I try to add to Songbook shows up blank. What is going on?

I wasn't signed up for the beta. Version 1.14 appeared on the Play Store and I upgraded. It now seems to have disappeared from the Play Store which is now showing version 1.13. Do you think that 1.14 was released by mistake? It has taken me the best part of a day to reinstall 1.13 and add back my several hundred lead sheets!

All scores will appear in the next update. Please, wait and don't remove the app (to allow migration as properly). Sorry for the inconveniences!

As I understand it version 1.14 was released to the PlayStore before it was ready. Anyway who installed it had all their scores removed from their phones/tablets. Version 1.14 was then removed from the PlayStore (at least from the UK) and replaced with version 1.13. Is this correct?

Not for me with MuseScore songbook inside the play store.

With my smart phone the play store offers three versions of MuseScore:

  • MuseScore app (version 1.14)
  • MuseScore beta (version 1.0)
  • MuseScore songbook (version 1.13)

MuseScore songbook is my installed app and meanwhile (for about a week (?)) there isn't listed/available the version 1.14.

When can we expect a fixed version of the songbook? I would like to be able to use my songs again or is it no longer wanted that we can use our own songs in the songbook? That would be regrettable, because then I would have spent the money in vain.
