Graphic Equalizer

Would buying or downloading a graphic equalizer help me in any way with MuseScore? If so which one should I obtain?

Would it for it for instance, give me more accurate sound for acoustic or classical guitars?

Realistically, no. I mean, an equalizer can tweak the sound to some extent, but you're still working with the original sound. Anyhow, you wouldn't need a physical one, there are probably software-based ones that would work as well, and maybe your computer even provides one.

But if you really want different guitar sounds, far more effective to simply try a different soundfont. See the Handbook under "Soundfonts" for more info. This would change the actual sound used, not just do some window dressing around the existing sound like EQ does.

Thank you. You told me what I suspected.

When you say "handbook" I'm assuming you're speaking of the one in pdf form? Has the handbook for MuseScore 2.3.1 added something new since 2.0?

I hope so for I'm getting frustrated in the guitar fonts I have they don't sound like real classical guitars.
