File Loading Error
I'd been working on a score for a long time, then I had to be away for a week. When I started MuseScore again, I got a message saying "unable to load," or something like that. I tried methods to recover a backup of the score (the file with the dot and comma) but it was unable to load that one as well. I know I saved the score before I turned off my computer... please help! This is very frustrating!

MuseScore stores a file at a so-called virtual store (on Windows)?
The attached file is beyond repair. Take a look also for an autosaved version: https://musescore.org/en/node/52116
Any idea about the reason of this unreadable score (what have you done at last before you've saved the score an quit the application? Something unusual you can remember)?

Can the comma in the name cause any damage?

@saxophoneophone, if you've shared your scores in the past and saved them online (MuseScore com), you can try to delete your recent scores and recover your damaged score.
If you're on Windows, you may also be able to restore an older version of the file via Microsoft OneDrive.
