Notes are wrong on a part
So I have this piece for two voices that i want to make into a clarinet duet. This is what i tried to do.
- select entire part
- right click and select Staff Properties
- click Change Instrument
- select Bb Clarinet
- Apply
The part sounds correct, but when I go to play the written notes on my clarinet, I found that the notes there are in the concert pitch. So what I did only changed the sound of playback. It didn't transpose the part. I've used this method with other pieces and it's always worked, so what did I do wrong? Am I just being stupid?

I suspect you have the concert pitch button pressed. If unpressing it does not fix it, then attach your score.

Yeah it was pressed. Now I just feel stupid. Thank you though, for reminding me of that. I could've sworn that I had already messed with that and it hadn't worked
