Measures display wth broad, dark line and a large, dark number
For a reason I can't determine, when I went to add a few new measures to a score, a single measure appeared with a broad dark line running horizontally. (It is unusable for entering notes.) Also, the number of measures I tried to add (3) appears above the erroneously displayed measure. I've looked for an answer but have been unsuccessful. Thanks for any help you can provide!

The M is next to the N, it happens a lot.
