Andante for oboe, clarinet and bassoon

• Aug 22, 2018 - 14:32

I came up with this short fragment for oboe, clarinet and bassoon. It's supposed to be a theme to a set of variations. I kind of find the part writing, the phrasing and the melody itself to be a bit wonky. What do you guys think?

I glanced at a few more compositions. I see you have an affinity for the Baroque and a grasp of form. ( I'm sure you wish the instruments were true.)
Being new at all this I'm not sure if this is a problem, but what concerns me is that your oboeclarinetbassoon show up in my "recent file". I shouldn't have anything recent as I've just begun. If I click on it, my palettes and inspector show up ready for work. This cannot be. Could someone edit someone else's work? This doesn't seem right. I figure you've been here a while and may know what's up.
I'm concerned about this because my Musescore 2.3.2 d/l'd without a wizard...it just popped up on my desktop as I read the instructions on line. (I d/l'd from here.) I hope I do not have an invalid copy. (I have reported the d/l snafu in "support and bugs" )

When you clicked the link above, the score opened in the MuseScore on your desk, not using MuseScore.com. When you do this the score will be added to your recent scores when you close it and you will have two files added to your computer in the location your browser downloads files. The two files are the one you clicked and one with the same name except it has a . at the beginning and a , at the end. It is also hidden, so you will only see the second file if you can see hidden files. The hidden file is automatically created when you open an existing score as a backup in case something goes wrong if you edit and save the file again. This backup is always created when you open a score using the program. The backup is in the same folder as the file you open.
