Tool to combine instruments in version 3
During the development of version 3 there was an example of a tool that allowed for combining staves into a single staff with voices, or to assign different instruments to different voices. I'm curious where this tool is located.

I suspect you are talking about the new voice features in File / Parts. I haven't tried it yet so I can't tell you how to use it...

It sounds like Marc is describing what I'm looking for. I remember Isaac had a demo or sample of it.

It's the second part of what is described above: "assign different instruments to different voices". More specifically, the ability to have a single instrument on a single staff in the score but have that correspond to separate parts, with voice 1 going to one part, voice 2 to the another. So you can write two flutes on a single staff but still have them appear as separate parts, basically.
