Sound "stopping" during playback (on pagejump)
Hi...
I have a project that was created in Finale a couple of years ago, I exported it to XML and worked with it to get it "MuseScore"-friendly (saved as.mscz).
The issue at hand is that the playback stops for a moment when the scrolling reaches the next page. The problem also persists in continous view. The original file plays back correct in Finale.
Soundfont loaded is 'MuseScore_General.sf3'. Other SF's like 'Salamander' doesn't solve the problem.
Computer is a Win7 i7-2700K with 16GB RAM.
I'm attaching the file here, but bare with me, since it isn't complete yet.
Main goal isn't playback but it sure would be nice to be able to listen to one's creations. :)
Best regards
Andreas

Get rid of those section breaks, they all default to create a 3 seconds pause in playback (it doesn't really stop, it just pauses)

Thanks! That did it!
I feel that the learning curve from ten years of Finale to MuseScore is somewhat... steep. :)

I suggest that you read, or at least skim, the manual so you can see the differences. Much of MuseScore is the same as Finale, much is different. You can download a PDF on the Handbook page to make reading it easier.

I've actually skimmed the handbok but reverted to trial-and-error...
This was my first score in MuseScore so I'm confident that I'll get comfortable soon...
... although Finale is still my number one choice.
However... MuseScore 3 seems to include a lot of "Finale-ish" finctions so I'm not ready to give up just yet. :)
Thanks for you quick response och input!
