Changing a text increases the size of a leading multi-measure rest further and further

In the attached score changing the text from text12121212 to text23232323 or anything else does increase the size of the MM-rest. Any additional text change will increase this size further and further.

Save, close and reopen the file does restore the original MM-rest size.
