When editing an element after a bar rest, the bar rest will extend. This causes some issues with editing the score further. To reproduce this, open a new score, place notes in a measure later in the score, toggle bar rests, drag the note up or down. The bar rest should stay normal length while editing later elements, however as previously stated, it extends. Good catch! I just had fun moving a note up and down repeatedly and watching the preceding multmeasure rest slowly grow and grow.
This is probably a doublette of #276661: Changing a text increases the size of a leading multi-measure rest further and further
According to #276661: Changing a text increases the size of a leading multi-measure rest further and further save and reopen the document should serve as a workaround
