MS3 Beta, crash on pulling down brackets, score corrupted
I added some staves, pulled down a bracket on the page I was working on - not the front page. I noticed that the bracket wasn't pulled down on a different system, so I did it there. Then I figured that it was only a local pull down, and I should do it on the first page of the score to get it to stick properly.
It crashed in response, no error message, just suddenly desktop.

It's not opening my saved score. No explanation, just hanging.
In a score I imported from version 2.3.2 I moved the thick square bracket and the thin square bracket. They both ended up being local adjustments, but they shouldn't be. All of the starting bracket adjustments are supposed to be global, at least that's how it was in version 2.
And my autosave isn't loading either!
That's some ridiculously complete annihilation, especially from a beta.
Okay, I tried again and messing with the brackets didn't crash anything. But I lost four hours of work - the autosave doesn't work either!
Maybe the clue to what happened is in the saves? There's actual data there, and the right amount of it. I don't know how to look at the meat of the save without Musescore, though. .txt?
Please help?

If you use a zip program, you can change the .mscz to .zip or .7z and unzip the .mscx file and look at it in a xml editor to see what it tells you. This might help if the file can be unzipped. I use XML Copy Editor which I found online once upon a time.

They both gave me an argument null reference exception. Which doesn't tell me anything other than winzip doesn't like opening it.

It means the corruption is in the zip, not what is zipped (the mscx file). Unfortunately it probably means you can't fix the zip to get to the mscx, which is moot since the problem is that the file can't be unzipped.
