The reason i used parts in musescore is so i can easily listen to individual audio tracks. this seem to not be anymore. is this intended or is this a known problem?

Confirmed, I think it is a know issue though. Well, atheist I know it and since quite long, not sure whether it ever got reported properly though

Here: #109941: Regression—playback in single part instead plays full score
And certainly higher priority than only medium. Even if it is "only" about playback, it would be a fault to release the 3.0 with this issue.
