In a multi-instrument score, when a measure is selected and playback begins, it plays the first note, skips to the next measure or to the end of the current measure, hesitates for a moment, and continues playing. It does not seem to happen with a score with one instrument (i.e. piano).

In order to investigate, we would need you to attach the score you are having problems with. In general, multi-instrument scores work fine, but possibly something specific in your score is triggering the issue you describe.

Here is the score. I should mention that is has a shortened measure at the beginning.
It plays fine for me - what do I need to select first in order to hear a problem?
BTW< was this score originally imported from 2.x? It has some extra clefs at the beginning that can be caused by a bug we had otherwise fixed, but if this score was imported with the buggy version and then saved, that might explain it.

To be clear, if the version 2 score still exists, import it again to see if it's fixed.
