Incomplete Measures - blue hyphen
I have several measures in a 4/4 time piece that will not allow 4 beats of music to be entered. In the example below, it's showing 2.5 beats of the measure and a small blue hyphen at top right of the measure. How do I resolve this?
Also, I cannot seem to find any way to move a rest from one side of a group of notes to the other side. Is there a way to move rest(s) earlier in a measure?

Right click on the measure, click "Measure properties..." and change the actual duration to 4/4.

And instead of moving the rest, think in terms of moving everything else - select the notes you want to move, cut, select new location, paste.
