Play mode is simply not active any more. It was as I created the lead sheet. After a shutdown of the Computer and the Restart of MuseScore, the Play mode is not active anymore. I also don't see my Headset in the list f the devices under Settings/input-Output/devices (see the screen shot attached - german Version of MuseScore).

Hi Jojo,
thanks for coming back to me. I tried that already.
Additional Info: as the error occured I was using a connect box (something like a dock station). I suspect that it has something to do with it, since it appeared that the "sound" drivers and devices (my headset but also the conexant device of the laptop itself) were not recognized by MuseScore. As I started Windows (btw Win 10 Enterprise) without the connect box, everything worked again. I guess the problem is in the combination of Win, MuseScore and the hardware vendor (the connect box).

So the ticket priority can be lowered I guess, since the error can be worked around and it may not be even a MuseScore problem alone.
