The last updated version crashes whenever I "load from score" the 'sound set list' of each score through the Synthesizer, especially in quitting (i.d. each time I try to quit the program after a saved working session); furthermore, the updated version doesn't playback the proper instrument of a 'loaded sound set list' (in order to playback correctly I have to 're-click' the proper instrument in the Mixer).

I get something similar where if I try to close a tab Musescore will crash

View > Synthesizer > Load from score doesn't crash for me, What soundfonts are you using? It is loading a 2nd MuseScore_General.sf3 here.
