As long as you use the one for version 3, all operating systems work now. All of the plugins are on this websites menu under download->plugins
Grab the version for your MuseScore (2.x or 3.x) from https://musescore.org/project/tempochanges
There is no difference in plugin coding between windows/mac/linux.

Hi - Thanks for the prompt response. I tried as you suggested, but when I open the zip file, all I see are exec files. Since I’m new to musescore it could be I just don’t know how to install plugins.

I now have the Tempo Change plugin. Thank to you all for your assistance. I'm a happy camper now.
