I have upgraded my iOS to 10.14.3 Mojave and now Musescore crashes when I try to transpose. I figure I need a new version of Musescore, since the one I have is quite old. I have tried 4 times to download and several more with the direct method. Nothing is working for me. Is there another way to download that large file?

Yes. I have tried the download button, and the link called "direct load". It is most likely a bandwidth issue. Is there another way to grab the file? Thank you!
There is no such link on that page, but a "Download for Mac" button

excuse my obvious typo please! :)
I'm having a similar problem with Windows 10. The installer gives me an error message saying my processor cannot handle this type of file. So the update doesn't happen. Any suggestions?
My guess is that you have a 32 bit version of windows. If this is the case you need to use the 32 bit version. The link is directly below the 64 bit version on the download page https://musescore.org/en/download
