Reverb for individual instruments in Musescore 3.0
How can i increase the reverb of individual instruments in Musescore 3.0? I have increased it in the mixer but it doesn't really make a difference
I don't want to change reverb of the whole score, just individual instruments

Unfortunately, you cannot control that FROM inside MuseScore, yet.
The today MuseScore MIDI controls are very limited. You can add reverb to all the piece through the Synthesizer, "Master Effects" tab, but it affects all the piece, whatever the amount of reverb you have in the Mixer to each channel (whatever, that "Reverb" button is not working today, I don't know why).
The only one way you can do that is with external software (Audacity, or other). But, you have to record each instrument separately. Then, in that audio software, you can control exactly how much reverb (and other effects) you put on each instrument.

The reverb slider works. It just has no effect on Fluid. It works with Midi Out to control (cc91) remote channels on some players. I tested with Sforzando and Kontact.

3.x implemented Midi out. You need a virtual cable (such as Loop midi ,Loopbe1 etc.) to connect Musescore to an external device. This allows you to write on or stream a mscz or mid file out to a favorite instrument. The preferences i/o will recognize the cable as a midi out device once it is downloaded. In this way, Msc. is used as a notation program and sequencer without the synthesizer. In many cases, the instrument (or vsti in windows) will have many controls available to use anyway, as a standalone, or inside a DAW as a plug-in. Sforzando by Plogue can be controlled by the Msc mixer. The channel volume, pan and reverb will move corresponding knobs in the external player. Much depends in each case on what midi commands are recognizable by the external player. Sforzando has a limitation as a standalone, in so far as you can only load a single file at one time. Basically, what you gain are potentially a whole bunch of instruments that receive the Msc playback and have a lot more user control than what Fluid and Zerberus provide. But this in no way is meant to tarnish the quality of the Musescore sf3 sound quality while the set-up preserves the fundamental role of Musescore as a score writing program.

How can you get this? ???
I have a USB MIDI cable connected to my external Casio MIDI keyboard and, even the fact I can input notes from that external keyboard to MuseScore (it is full recognized), I can not to get Musescore sends some MIDI messages to that external keyboard!!!
And... It is not something wrong in the USB/MIDI interface I'm using, because with Rosegarden (a full MIDI sequencer for Linux) I get it without problems.
I have to use JACK to get MuseScore "commands" the Casio keyboard, but... It is a real huge job to learn how to use JACK to something which should be a very easy connection!!!
I think... Or I missed something in the way... Or something is still missing between the internal Musescore Synthesizer and the outside MIDI world.

I'm not using a hardware interface. I keep Midi In shut OFF by disabling it. Is your Casio keyboard capable of playing a midi file sent to its input and responding to volume, pan and reverb send levels in real time? I am doing this using software apps that are players and load instruments. It does seem that if Rosegarden can communicate with your keyboard using midi out, then Musescore should be able to. What model is your Casio?

Sorry for the delay!!! I was busy, here.
My Casio external MIDI keyboard is a CTK-601 (prehistoric device).
When I use MuseScore 2.3.2, I can play any score with the MuseScore internal Synthesizer and my Casio external device, at the same time, in full synchronization, without problems!!!
But, when I use MuseScore 3.0.5..., I can only use one device at a time. Or I use the internal MuseScore Synthesizer, or I use the external Casio device, but not both devices at the same time.
BTW: I get to use the Casio MIDI external device ONLY selecting "PortAudio" (Preferences, I/O). If I select "PulseAudio", or "Audio ALSA"... The external device doesn't play!!! And... Worst... Only sometimes I get the external device plays (most of the time, using "PortAudio", I only get a very annoying sound, something like a MW radio interference).
Remember I use Ubuntu Studio 18.04.2 LTS (64 bit Linux).
So... I insist..., I think..., I guess..., Something was missing in this "MIDI part" when the change from MuseScore 2.3.2 to MuseScore 3.0.5 was done.
And... Maybe, it is related with the problem I still have with MuseScore 3.0.5, about I don't get sound the first time I open the program, each day. I have to use the button [Restart all Audio and MIDI devices] (Preferences, I/O) to get sound. And... When I get sound... The cursor is absolutely out-of-synchronization with the playing time (if it moved, because sometime it is static, in some place, for a time, then it jumps to any other random position).
Non of those issues was present in MuseScore 2.3.2. So... "Houston, we have a problem!"

Cool! That much works. It must be an interesting sound coming out of the Casio. You might try to get a hold of help through the Issues section. I believe Eric Fontaine coded the transition from Jack to the new Midi Out. I think he works on Linux as his own set-up. When you brought up the "one or the other but not both" audio out, I couldn't help but think of driver issues. God knows, I have had a lot of shuffling around with that, as well as latency. But now I have a decent multi audio out set-up. There was a long discussion in the issues history leading up to the selection of port audio and the writing of code. I also spent a long time reading everything I could find on the architecture of Windows MMS and so forth.

I wrote all the issues I have into the forums!!! Up today, there is not a clear solution.
What I want to say is it seems to be something related ONLY with Ubuntu Studio (I understand it isn't the same with other Linux versions).
It is very weird for me, because it is supposed that Ubuntu Studio "IS" Ubuntu (full Linux) and the only one difference is that there are a lot of multimedia packages pre-installed. The central kernel is... Ubuntu Linux!!! So...
