Whenever I have articulations on a note, the program ignores them and doesn't play the note properly. How do I fix this?

That won't fix anything though. But it might enable the developers to fix it. Or to fix your expectations ;-)

Ah, yes, there's a sample score
So ignoring the name of the score, how do make the note vibrato? I placed the notation so I’m not sure what to do.

Only very few instruments have sounds for vibrato, like violins, violas. Balalaika has not. But maybe you can use bends.
Not all articulations have an effect on playback, staccato, tenuto, fermate, trill have for example.
Edit, sorry, I merant tremolo (for violin, viola...). Vibrato is one of the articulations that don't have playback implemented
