Muting part of an instrument track
I'm looking for a way to solo individual staves within an organ or piano track. What do I do if I only want to listen to the bass hand and pedals of an organ track without the melody? Can I listen to the right and left hand separately in a solo piano score? The only thing I've come across so far is soloing whole instruments using the mixer. Any help?

You cannot currently solo a single staff of an instrument in a release version. This is being looked at for a future release. In the 3.1-Release candidate announcement this was mentioned as being possible in 3.1-beta at the expense of normal playback, but has been removed until a better method for implementing this is found.

It won't be in 3.1, but perhaps 3.1.1 or soon after that. Minor updates are usually done about every 3 weeks, so hopefully it won't be too long before it's possible.
