Plugin for violin finger placement?
Is there any plugins for violin finger placement? I've only found a javascript plugin for the first musescore and it doesn't seem to be updated for musescore 2 and 3

Can you explain what you want to see different than the defaults? MuseScore 3 defaults should already be much better than MuseScore 1; better than the old plugins did.

Oh, didn't knew tat MuseScore 3 already had it? How do i enable it? But to answer your question, even tho it already had my request, something that would be even better would be a actual fingerboard that shows the finger placement, like StringClub and Purely Violin has!

MuseScore 2 and 3 don't have plugins for that, but fingering texts and styles for this.
Fretboard diagrams are available, but only for fretted instruments.

I know, it was a request or an idea for a plugin! But still dont know how to enable the fingering texts!

Fingerings are added from the Fingerings palette, same as in all versions of MuseScore. But the placement is greatly improved in MuseScore 3, so plugins just to correct that are no longer needed.

Ah, so not a plugin to help with the placement of fingering, but a plugin to automatically add fingerings for you? Indeed, that's not built in. You need to enter fingering info yourself.
Could you test the qml-file attached to https://musescore.org/nl/node/288733#comment-919048 and let me know if this works as expected for you?
If it does, I'll add it to the plugin repository.

It works quite well! A few ABC import became messy, but overall, works well!

Published this version (and the history of the plugin I was able to retrace) at https://musescore.org/en/project/violin-fingering
Actually reading through the code this time made me realize that there some bugs with it still. We'll see when I find the time to tackle some of those though..
