Time Signature Problem
The attached score is a hymn written in different time signatures in alternate measures, 4/4, 6/4, 4/4, 6/4, etc. I created the score in the normal way and populated the first trumpet part, inserting the proper time signature into each empty measure as I went, or perhaps one or two measures ahead of myself.
After completing about half the score that way, I noticed several measures had a "double" signature, i.e. appearing like the improbable 66/44 or 44/44 (see the screen-grab Musescore two times -1). Each time I tried to delete the second 6/4 of the two (highlight, then hit delete), the measure reverted to the previous measure, but still showed the old 6/4 at the start of the measure, see file -2. In other words, it was a 4-count measure showing 6/4 or a 6-count measure showing 4/4. So to fix it, I resorted to emptying the affected measures, deleting them, adding them back, then re-entering the proper time signature and notes.
But each time I saved the file or fixed one of the measures, I got mixed results. Sometimes it "saved" properly, sometimes other measures cropped up with the "double" signature, like Whack-a-mole. You can see them in the attached score after I finally gave up. I've been at this now for about eight hours. BTW, this is the first score I've created in the recently-downloaded Version 3 after several succesful songs done previously in the old version 2.3.2.
