I saved a score and can't load it.
As of the time of writing this, about a week ago I started making a score entitled "music 2". This was just an original score that I composed just to test out MuseScore and see how good of a site it is. Once I had completed about two phrases of music, I decided to save it to a file and load it the next day, but it was never to be found again. I can still see its name in my files, but if I click on it all that I see on screen is a blank manuscript. Could you please tell me how to recover it?

Thank you for replying. The second link really summarises my situation, but on the page it tells me that there should be auto-generated files and I don't know where to find them. I tried searching the names of them but they still don't show up.

I use Windows and I think that this is what I should search: MuseScore files.

Okay. It just shows a blank manuscript.

I suspect there was an error in the way to save the file (overwritten?)
Nevertheless, there should be a backup copy somewhere eg. in the virtual store (on Windows)

Alright, I'll keep an eye out for it. I'll try to re-create the score anyway. Thanks for your help!

Find the hidden .music 2.mscz, file. It may have your old score in it.
