cannot form chords when using dotted whole note duration
As the subject states, I cannot form chords when using dotted whole note duration; or at least not with a harp. Is this a bug or is there a way to work around this? thanks :)

In a 4/4 measure? Use whole notes, form the chord, select half note duration, press +
This is a general problem for chords spanning a barline

No it's 3/4 but I figured it out!
If you select a whole note a crochet is placed in the bar next to it with a slur. You can extend the crochet to a dotted quaver and it performs them as one note :D
So happy to figure this out!

That works, but it's a round-about ay of doing it. The normal way to enter ties is to enter the first note, then select the duration for the second note, then simply press "+". You want a dotted half tied to a dotted half. So, the sequence is:
1) select dotted half duration
2) enter first note (or note, for a whole chord)
3) press + (since dotted half is already selected for the duration)
