Notehead palette where find?

• Jul 24, 2019 - 17:31

Hi!
I'm using MuseScore in German language but thought, maybe better to ask in English.. ? where can I find the notepad palette? I need to write harmonics for violin and unfortunately, I'm a MuseScore-beginner... Thank you for help!

thank you for kindness to send soon answer! Unfortunately, I did not understand much of was being described in the text of the link.. but I tried to click and search around myself and see what happened. Then, in the upper toolbar, under "view", I found the (total/overall) palette! I tried to change the notehead from round to diamond form, (actually managed that through a lot of clicking and guessing) but I am not much convinced, harmonics for stringed instruments is a very "welcome" or integrated feature in MuseScore.... but thanks anyway!

Thanks. Seems Linux and apparently Mac too (@Anatoly?) just obey the corresponding settings from share/themes/palette_dark_fusion.json, lines 10 and 11 while Windows does not and uses black on light yellow (or the corresponding settings from share/themes/palette_light_fusion.json, lines 10 and 11) in light and dark theme.
Could be a Qt version thing too, Windows builds are in 5.12.2 (mine in 5.12.4) while macOS builds are too using 5.9.x nowadays again

I'm guessing you want to make a diamond notehead above a standard notehead to notate the harmonic. The notehead palette is in the advanced workspace. CLick Basic below the palettes to change workspaces.
