Fast violin notes lose volume
OS: macOS 10.14, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.2.3.22971, revision: d2d863f
Starting at bar 25 in the V1 part of the attached score, 32nd notes and ornaments requiring similarly "fast" notes are played one or two dynamic levels lower than the rest of the part; similar passages in the clarinet part aren't exhibiting this problem, and it's only in the "fast" notes, i.e., as soon as the part returns to 16th and longer notes, the part returns to the correct volume. Have I discovered a bug, or have I inadvertently and unknowingly changed some setting? Thanks!
Oh, and just in case the score doesn't exhibit the problem when played on "your" platform, I've added a zipped mp3 export, which does exhibit the problem, i.e., creating such an export didn't eliminate the problem.

Go to the mixer and choose "Violin Expr". You have "Slow Violin Expr", an MS2 compatibility. See also https://musescore.com/bsg/scores/5286255 .

What does the Expr. signify? And how would this have been selected instead of just Violin (I certainly didn't do it intentionally or knowingly)? In particular, I see that my Clarinet is also Clarinet Expr., which, again, I didn't do knowingly or intentionally: so, what with the Expr., and (why) is it defaulted to? Thanks!

Expression, this sound works with single note dynamics (and the MIDI expression controller)

Ah, single note dynamics: so it's automatically selected when I check the "Use single note dynamics" box when editing a dynamic marking? If I later, in the same part, uncheck that box, does it switch to the "regular" instrument at that point, and stay that way unless/until I change it again? Or is the Expr. version of an instrument capable of NOT observing single note dynamics? In other words: what are the details of this "hidden" impact of (un)selecting "Use single note dynamics"?

If you open an existing score with the default single note dynamics and the MuseScore_General_HQ soundfont, it will automatically switch all channels possible to espr. channels. This can be changed in the synthesizer by clicking reset all in the Dynamics tab and setting this as the default. However, default single note dynamics won't work then.
