Adding new instrument with tab on instruments.xml

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to create new early music plucked instruments with tablatures.
As suggested on other topics, I've been writing the new instruments on a new XML file.

I've managed to add one instrument and its tablature by copying the lute lines, but I'm now unable to repeat the process for the other instruments I want to add.
The instrument and the TAB version appear on the list of instruments on the software, but when I select the TAB, a normal staff appears, no tab.
In attachment is the part of the XML code with the new instruments.
The pandore works perfectly, tab and all, but the cistre is just giving me a mensural staff when I select the TAB...

I've been checking the code on the XML file dozens of times but I can't get the software to create a tab line... Any ideas?

Precisely!
I use the English tuning for the cittern lowest string is a B instead of an A but that's the idea.
I used to change the string setting from the lute tablature, but I'm a bit tired of doing so, so I tried with the XLM file. Did you also do so?

I also tried to use the custom XML file on musescore 3 (I use 2.3). So when I select cittern TAB, the part appears TAB in the instrument selector, but a normal staff appears on the score. And when I go back to the instrument menu, the cittern part appears as normal...

Not exactly, and I won't be able to help here: I don't create or edit any instruments via the XML file. To create a new instrument, I simply modify the strings setting of an existing instrument in new score (for lute indeed, eg), and I keep it as a Template (like the one created for the pandora and cittern). Simple, fast and efficient.
