Measure numbers are controlled in the measure properties and style setting. The only thing you can do to a measure number is make it invisible or move. What exactly are you trying to do.

Probably these options don't make sense in the menu and style should be used, anyway they are enabled items in the menu: cut, delete, ... see print screen.

The only item on that menu that makes sense for a measure number is select> and Help, you can't do any of the other things.

corrected in 3.5. Now, pressing delete basically sets the measureNumberMode to Hide
