Hello,
I have a problem when creating a new music notation. At any time whether I use a two line notation, or using four line notations, there "pause" music notes within the sheet, which I am not able to delete. These "pause" should not be there and come automatically after putting in music notes via the regular process. In a two line notation, I determine, they come up as soon as I play in the bass, for example. Attached find a *.msc file where the pauses are marked which I am speaking of. Can you give me a hint, how to get rid of them in the sheet? Thank you in advance

You attached a backup score, not your current version, I don't see any pauses being marjed there, not do I see 2 lines vs. 4 lines.
Also you made the common mistake to use voice 2 for Alto, 3 for Tenor and 4 for Bass regadless they all have their own staff, just use voice 1 for all of them, see https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/voices
Ah, pauses -> rests! Yes, this is the case because ofthe mistake I mentioned. Use voice 1 as the first voice to use on every staff.
In a 4 staff SATB use voice 1, in a 2 staff SATB use voice 1 (for Soprano and Tenor) and 2 (for Alto and Bass)

Sorry, I answered to your last message via Mail. Should habe read the comments below the message.....
I tried to make a screenshot which didn't work. No problem, I will follow your suggestion when setting up the next sheet and then will see whether or not it works. The program itself is the best notation tool I ever used! I just love it :-)
You can just swap voices (Alto: 1-2, Tenor: 1-3 and Bass: 1-4) and then delete the excess rests (right-click one, select all similar, Del), this is what I did to your score

Good, let me check. Do I understand correctly that the swap can even be made in an existing sheet, like mine?
Yes
