Adding the copyright smybol to the score.
I have tried to insert the special Copyright symbol to my score but nothing works. Went into the style section unders headers and footers but with no results!! Help!

I don't know the "special" copyright symbol.
But the general one can be typed with Alt + 0169 on the numeric keypad in Windows.
If you press F2 while editing any text field in Musescore, it immediately appears in the first tab in the first pop-up window.
Maybe you're asking another thing, not that?

There have been so many requests for this over the years and always the response is: "Go somewhere else and copy, etc" or "keypad".
I am curious why the (seeming) simple solution of adding it to a palette for access hasn't been invoked?

It is in the F2 palette, but that isn't accessible while typing in the New Score Wizard or File > Score properties > copyright, that's the entire problem

There are probably technical reasons, not sure, I guess the routines for editing those text input fields are handled differently that those like for editing lyrics or staff text
