Linked staff isn't really linked
I have a guitar part with a linked tab staff underneath.
At least, it says they're linked under Edit -> Instruments.
Except when I modify the notes either in the five line regular staff (for instance, change A to A sharp) or modify the tab fret number, nothing changes in the corresponding linked staff, meaning these staves aren't really linked.
Now if I take a note and add an articulation, like an accent, the articulation appears in the other staff. So in this case the staves are linked! What gives? Any help would be appreciated because this is frustrating!

How did you properly link them?
I see what you mean here. My guess is it connected to the custom tuning you created. Was that done in Guitar Pro or in MuseScore?

@ brettvachon, I pressed 'I' I selected the first stave and, from the middle column chosen 'Add linked'.
https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/create-new-score#add-staff
Then you can eliminate the superfluous via 'I'

Ah, gotcha. I was linking from the tab staff and not the five line staff and this never seemed to save properly.
